Full student support is provided throughout the course, for example, by email as required in addition to the virtual classroom. Alan uses a variety of techniques to assist and prepare students for the examination, and student participation is expected.
The Global Operations Management paper, which is available to sit in June and December each year, contains a compulsory case study which brings together a variety of elements of importance with respect to products, operations and regulation together with risk management and this delivers 35 marks out of the total of 100. Students are supplied with past examinations and sample questions are discussed by Alan with candidates during the virtual sessions.
